Taking Violin Lessons

Violin is one of the most asked-for instruments to learn for beginners. It is regarded as one of the most important musical instruments in history because of its fundamental role in the orchestra. It is regarded as a beautiful instrument with a powerful and romantic sound.

The violin has four strings:
From high to low, the strings on the violin are E, A, D, and G. They are made from a variety of materials including catgut (sheep intestine), nylon, and steel.

When starting on violin, it is recommended that the best age to start is between 5 and 7 years old. This does not mean that older children and adults cannot play the violin, but starting young enables the student to learn much faster and retain information better as they grow. Research has proven that students of musical instruments, especially those that play the violin, have a stronger verbal and visual memory with better sensory cognitive development overall.

Playing the violin also improves memory and attention spans in school and enables the student to learn for longer periods of time. Violinists also use more parts of their brains with those parts connected to the sensitive left-hand movements.
