Right now Omaha, our country, and the entire world is going through some very uncertain times. We are all learning how to handle and navigate all these instant changes to our everyday lives from homeschooling to working at home, life is very different at the moment. Even though you are stuck at home that does not mean that music lessons stop! We are offering virtual music lessons.
How do virtual music lessons happen?
All of our music teachers here at Omaha School of Music and Dance are teaching virtual music lessons. They are using the video chat website Skype to teach lessons from their homes. Our teachers will call whatever email or phone number you use for Skype and they will call you on the website when your normal lesson time comes around. Just because the lessons are now virtual does not mean that the times or days your lessons are on have changed! We want lessons to be as normal as possible during these crazy times.
What if I can not make my Skype lesson?
Have no fear! If you cannot make your Skype lesson call for whatever reason, teachers are still sending out Lessonmate videos! These videos are about ten minutes long and are sent through your email that we have in the system at OSMD!
Can I still sign up for lessons?
Of course, you can! We are always looking for new students to join our OSMD family and are so excited when someone decides to learn a new instrument here with us! Just because lessons have gone virtual for the time being, that does not mean that you shouldn’t be able to learn how to play the instrument of your dreams!
