There are many ways to take on new forms of movement in the body. Dancing allows you to move the body while also finding your creative side within the music. With the stress that this past year and a half has brought to everyone, now more than ever is the time to let loose and take on dance classes. You can release any built-up stress while having a fun time learning new dance moves with whatever style of dance you choose. Here at the Omaha School of Music and Dance, there is no limit to what age you have to be to take on dance lessons. Adult dance classes are also split up by skill level so you’ll feel comfortable the minute you step onto the dance floor.
Here at OSMD, we offer several different dance classes for adults. Those include adult tap, ballet, jazz, combo, and lyrical. Our teachers will welcome you with open arms into whichever class you choose. We’re located off 144th and Dodge so the studio is in a convenient and great location! As stated above, dance classes can help to relieve stress and bring out creativity in students. However, it can also be a great form of exercising and work with flexibility. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect! In a short amount of time, you’ll notice a huge improvement in your dancing and find a newfound love for what you’re doing. After learning new dances you’d want to be able to show what you’ve learned right? Through the great planning of our staff and team members, you’re able to perform at our annual recital with the studio! With the stage, costumes, music, and audience, a recital makes for a wonderful environment full of fun!
