What a fantastic recital we had! We could not be more proud of our performing students! Nor can we thank all who participated and attended the recital enough! In lieu of an admission fee we asked that you brought in a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Open Door Mission, and boy, did you folks deliver! We collected over one hundred pounds of food! I don’t think I need to explain what a tremendous feat we have achieved together. Because of our recital and its generous attendees we will be able to provide over fifty meals to people in need!
Here at PPA studio, we couldn’t be more proud to have such a generous group of families as a part of our studio. I cannot state enough, how much your donations will be appreciated! This experience serves as the perfect opportunity to reflect on our own lives and how fortunate we really are. It is easy to get caught up in our own busy schedules and lose sight of the big picture that we are all a part of.
Some of us have never known what it really means to go without, to worry where your next meal is coming from, or if you will have a warm place to sleep that night. This is an epidemic facing our society today; by donating to the Open Door Mission you have erased some of that fear and given comfort to those who do not have comfort elsewhere. You have also shown a side a humanity that really warms our hearts. It is a side of people not seen as often as it should be anymore.
There is nothing more gratifying than helping others. This is a notion that we apply everyday at the studio. Whether it is helping a student progress in their music lessons or helping the less fortunate to find a meal, we want to help and it is wonderful to see that you do as well!
